My Story

Alex Pendry As I mentioned; my name is Alex Pendry and I have had a dog as a pet for as long as I can remember when I was a kid. However I was dead set against when I got older and started having children of my own. However as my children have begun to get older they have been wanting me to get a puppy for them.

At first I was set against it; however I remember that my dog and I grew up together and how she taught me to love unconditionally. I want this for me children as well. Believe me I thought it was going to be a piece of cake; however the first thing that she did when I put her down on the carpet was left me a two gifts. One came in the form of a puddle and the other was something that I do not even want to mention.

I quickly picked her up and took her outside then came back in to see one of my children stepping in it. Well this not only happened once; but three times.

My puppy which we have two is a little stubborn and regardless of whether I take her outside all she wants to do is play and then comes back into the house and takes care of her business.

I finally got my hands on one of the best potty training puppies guide that I can find. I have learned that I am the main reason that she is not picking up on the toilet training. I now know that I am supposed to take her outside right before I do anything else in the morning and have begun setting a schedule that will help her know what she is supposed to do.

While I would like to mention that there have been no more accidents in the house; the truth is that there has been one since I have gotten the education that I needed. However she is now getting to the point where she is going to the door on her own and waiting for us to let her out. I believe that in a couple of weeks we will be accident free!
